For Immediate Release: Charina Sarte has always had fashion in her blood. Growing up in a family of designers and makeup artists, Charina worked as a successful runway model before trying her hand in fashion design.
Charina was always in search of the perfect bikini due to her love for travel and frequent trips to the beach. Frustrated never being able to find a swimsuit that matched her style and body type, she hired her first sewer in 2005 and soon after, began making her own bikinis. What initially started as a hobby, turned into a flourishing business when Charina began selling her designs to friends and friend’s of friends at private parties hosted in her home.
Since her humble beginnings, Charina has expanded her offerings to include not only swimwear, but also a full line of women’s clothes.
On December 7, 2010, Charina celebrates over five years of success by launching her first flagship store in the Filipino Zone of Greenbelt 5, Makati City.
To mark this momentous occasion, Charina unveils her Holiday 2010 collection.
This collection is the quintessence of everything the Charina Sarte line is about: uber-femininity, glamour, romance and timeless modernity.
BLACK LABEL
Delicate fabrics such as lace, satin, chiffon and silk are worked into modern shorts, jumpsuits and frocks. A confection of romantic pieces balanced with a bit of edge.
SILVER LABEL
The female form is the focus of this line. Draping that accentuates the curves of the body is the featured technique, silk jersey being the medium. A rich holiday palette of red, mustard, purple, plum, pine and camel envelops the collection.
PURPLE LABEL
This collection embodies jet set glamour. Draped gold maillots, teenie weenie beaded bikinis and leopard print cover-ups are some of the covetable pieces in this collection.

Since 2005, Charina Sarte has grown into a strong label with an enthusiastic following among Manila’s elite and local celebrities.
