Herschel Spring Summer 2014 Collection

Inspired by the perseverance to race against the wind, Herschel Supply presents the 2014 Studio Collection. Channeling the competitive spirit of the regatta and the camaraderie between crewmen, Studio pieces pay homage to sea-faring traditions and timeless maritime style.

Designed to challenge the elements with finesse, this twelve-piece, fully drainable collection will prepare you for any voyage. Traditional sailing materials of water and tear resistant sailcloth wear refreshing colors of Mark Teal, Racing Red, Regatta Blue and Cardinal Yellow. Design details include a dynamic, sail inspired zig-zag stitching, exposed plastic zippers with full grain leather zipper pulls and color matched rubber detailing.

The Studio collection is comprised of Settlement, Post, Sutton and Market bags.

This unique and practical range can be found online at and select stores worldwide.

VANCOUVER, February 17th, 2014 – This Spring Herschel Supply presents a new collection designed with Californian artist, Kevin Butler. As the creator of well-loved series, Rad Cars with Rad Surfboards, Kevin’s playful illustrations adorn beach ready silhouettes that are ideal for sun drenched days. From an early age, Kevin recognized old cars and surfboards as functional art, seeing the romance behind their craftsmanship. Several decades later, Kevin has nostalgically translated these two loves into a new art form with Rad Cars, striking a chord with fans worldwide.

“There are a very select few companies that I really want to align myself with. Herschel Supply has always been one of them. Working with Herschel was great because they’re a really nice sized company – big enough to get rad stuff done, but not so big that you have to go through unnecessary layers.” – Kevin Butler

By combining Kevin’s passion for surf life and design credibility with Herschel Supply’s dedication to fine quality made goods and sense of adventure, the Rad Cars With Rad Surfboards offering is perfect for long days in the spring sun. The thirteen piece collection consists of fully drainable backpacks, duffles and accessory silhouettes, in hues inspired by Kevin’s illustrations and with the Rad Cars print as an inside liner. Completing this beach ready range are long and short board surf socks, a surfboard rack and beach towel, all adorned with Rad Cars prints.

Spring 2014 Rad Cars pieces can be found now in select stores worldwide and on, for a limited time.

VANCOUVER, March 4, 2014 – The craftsmanship of drawing by hand is at the core of the Herschel Supply Company. New for Spring 2014, the Pacific fish print is added to a growing body of hand illustrated work that is truly unique to Herschel Supply.

As a design driven company, no exceptions are made when it comes to developing prints for each new collection. Capturing the beauty of six Pacific Northwest fish through an all-over pattern application, the Pacific print evokes the abundance of spring.

Inspired by vintage fishing posters found inside local markets, the Herschel Supply design team translated the intricate drawings of fish into functional pieces of art. The Pacific print graces the exterior of the seven silhouettes including the Settlement, Little America, Sutton Mid, Novel, Market XL, Token and Anchor Sleeve.

VANCOUVER, February 4, 2014 – Herschel Supply’s new Kids collection features a progressive line of seasonal mash-up prints exclusively featured across three silhouettes.

Color-blocking and kid safe plastic zippers have been downsized, while maintaining the same fine regard for detail as the full size sillouettes. Available in Kids and slightly larger Youth bags, Herschel Supply’s Kids collection provides a fun choice in a small package.

For Spring 2014, Heritage and Settlement styles feature in Woodland Camo with a screen print Polka Dot overlay, hand illustrated Green and Purple Fort prints, striking Checkerboard, color blocked Polka Dot as well as solid muted hues and brights.

The Herschel Supply Kids collection is available online at and in select stores worldwide.

VANCOUVER, January 30, 2014 – Inspired by spring layering, this season Herschel Supply pairs two contrasting prints together for a fresh take on classic camo and Hawaiian floral. One half of the mash up is the Paradise print, characterized by hand drawn, tropical flowers and rendered in vibrant orange and blue. The highly saturated Paradise print works back with a more subdued Duck Camo, colored in complimentary tones.

The Duck Camo/Paradise mixed print story is offered in a range of Herschel Supply backpacks, duffles, totes and accessories. Available online at and in stores worldwide from January, these unique printed carryalls are the perfect transition to warmer days.

VANCOUVER, March 7, 2014 – Nothing says “the spring is here” like the sun bleached hues and light materials
of Herschel Supply’s new Cotton Canvas Collection.

This season, the fourteen piece offering reflects Herschel Supply’s passion for quality textiles that will last for generations. Enzyme washed lightweight cotton canvas gives off a subtle bleached out effect to solid and color blocked Teal, Pink, Navy, Army, Khaki and Black hues. Two silhouettes, the Heritage and Pier, are styled in
a refreshing combination of pastels, offset by a screen printed black and white checkerboard.

Each piece in the line is finished with fine details including full grain dyed and natural leather, antique brass hardware and Herschel Supply’s signature striped liner in blue and white.

Designed with durability and style in mind, these Cotton Canvas styles will carry you through the warmer months and beyond. Available in backpacks, duffles, totes, and messengers, the complete Cotton Canvas range can now be found in selected stores worldwide and online at

VANCOUVER, February 19th, 2014 – Born out of a passion for experimentation, the Bad Hills Workshop is a creative space that is free from all rules and guidelines. Inspired by spring layering, the latest offering uses a fusion of materials each selected for their innovative aesthetic, comfort and functionality.

Acid wash denim works in striking contrast with fresh pastel pink, yellow and black main body compartments. Finishing details include thick, full grain brown saddle leather, Swiss Riri zippers, nylon seatbelt webbing and the introduction of dual density, EVA molded lycra to ensure the shape and comfort are retained in all backpack straps.

The Spring 2014 Bad Hills Workshop collection sees four new silhouettes make their debut, including the Deerfield backpack, Lonsdale duffle, Alexander Tote and Field pouch. Finished by the Heritage backpack, this five piece range is available now, only at the most sought after retailers worldwide.
